Valley Performance Physical Therapy
Founded in the Spring of 2020, VPPT was born to provide and create an environment where the patient is put as the number one priority. We are here to provide quality one on one care, evidence based treatment and to assist in providing you with the quality of life that you deserve.
How are we different?
- Experienced and knowledgeable staff. The therapists at Valley Performance Physical Therapy have a combined experience of over 30 years, and we are all certified by the American Physical Therapy Association. We are experts in a variety of areas, including orthopedics, sports medicine, and women’s health.
- Customized treatment plans. Valley Performance Physical Therapy takes the time to get to know each patient and their individual needs. Together with our patients, we then develop a customized treatment plan that is specific to the patient’s injury or condition.

Joe Klein, PT, DPT
Dr. Joe Klein received his Bachelor’s of Science Degree from San Diego State University in 2008 with an emphasis in Kinesiology and his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Azusa Pacific University in 2011. Joe has spent his years as a physical therapist gaining experience in all aspects of Physical Therapy with his passion being the outpatient physical therapy setting to assist patient’s in their road to recovery, restoring function and helping his patients live life pain free. Joe has spent extensive post graduate training in manual therapies, instrument assisted soft tissue massage as well as other hands on techniques. In his down time, Joe spends times with his wife, three sons and enjoys the outdoors and fishing.

Chelsea Klein, PT, DPT
Dr. Chelsea Klein received her Bachelor’s of science Degree from Long Beach State University with an emphasis in Kinesiology and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Azusa Pacific University in 2011. Chelsea, originally from the Central Valley, has continued to advance her studies, where she become LSVT Loud certified for treatment of those with Parkinson’s Disease as well as continued education in Pelvic Floor rehabilitation to help those with pelvic floor/girdle dysfunction. Outside of the clinic Chelsea enjoys spending time with her family, friends, her three sons, traveling and the outdoors.
Alison Mantel, PT, DPT, OCS, SCS
Alison joins us from St. Augustine, Florida. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Central Florida in 2017. After graduation she completed a residency in both orthopedic and sports physical therapy from Brooks Rehabilitation in Jacksonville, Florida. She became a board certified specialist in orthopedics and sports physical therapy in 2019 and 2021, respectively.
She also has a bachelor of science from the University of Michigan in Economics and Environmental Sciences in 2011 where she played water polo earning her Second Team All-American honors. Prior to achieving her physical therapy degree, she played professional water polo in Pamplona, Spain.
Harmeet Singh, PTA
Billy Hemphill, SLP
Billy earned his Bachelors and Masters degree for communicative sciences and disorders with an emphasis in Speer-Language Pathology (SLP) in 1998 and 2000 respectively from Fresno State University. Billy has been practicing for over 20 years now with extensive experience and expertise in acquired speech/language/cognitive/swallowing disorders. Billy is passionate about helping people restore function and/or compensate for lost function with regards to communication and swallowing. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter along with two dogs.
